We leave to the second viticultural area par excellence of Mendoza. We will go to the region of Valle de Uco, to the Tupungato and Tunuyán departments, touring the known productive corridor that allows us to check out the different orchards and vineyards that give rise to the famous high altitude wines and then we’ll visit two High End wineries located at the foot of the majestic Andes, knowing the different internationally awarded processes and styles of winemaking (additional cost of guided tours and tastings).
Moving up to the base of the mountains and the banks of Arroyo Grande, meet the Glorious Renunciation monument (popularly known as Manzano Histórico), which recalls the return to the homeland of General San Martin at the end of the liberation campaign in 1823, unique piece that shows the hero on a mule and gaucho clothing.
At the end of our walk, we will ascend to the lookout and Cristo Rey monument, where we will see the imposing Cordón del Portillo and Tupungato volcano.
Return to the city of Mendoza in the afternoon.
